What is the Academy at Biltmore Church?

The Academy at Biltmore Church is a Monday – Friday full-time child care facility located at our Arden Campus. Our desire is to provide a safe place for children (infants through pre-K) to learn, socialize and develop in a Gospel-centered environment.

Why a daycare?

We are a church for Western North Carolina, and we believe that meeting our area's needs allows us to better share the Gospel with every person that calls WNC home. Unfortunately, our region has faced substantial staffing shortages after the pandemic. While not unique to our area, the shortages can be particularly impactful in economies like ours that are heavily based on tourism and services. A recent local study found that the number one reason for staffing shortages was the severe lack of affordable childcare centers.

We also believe in providing safe environments with a Gospel-centered curriculum will allow even more opportunities for us to disciple the next generation toward a God who loves them.

This allows us to disciple even more kids and be better stewards of our facilities. All of this happens while we meet the needs of our community that we are proud to call home.

The Academy is in our Arden Campus location at 35 Clayton Rd in Arden. We are utilizing our existing Biltmore Kids hall throughout the week for the Academy and using the same space for our kids programming on Sunday! By doing this, it allows us to optimize our facilities and gives children a space that they feel comfortable in and are familiar with.

The Academy is a full time childcare facility, open Monday - Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Due to the high need for full time childcare in the WNC area, the Academy does not have any partial week or half day options.

The Academy is excited to provide care and education for children from infants through pre-K!

Yes! The Academy operates under a Religious Sponsored Facility license - this means that we will are fully licensed by the state of North Carolina and are responsible to adhere to all requirements as they relate to building, fire, sanitation, safety and North Carolina child care regulations including classroom ratios. Our Religious Sponsored Facility license allows us to choose our own child development curriculum and teach Bible based lessons to our enrolled children.
